Bloomin Flowers Bride of the Year 2013

This year we had the pleasure of decorating the entrance for Bloomin Flowers Bride of the Year at The Great Lake Centre Taupo. It was so much fun styling and creating a unique entrance and to have been apart of such an amazing event. We are very grateful to have had the opportunity and to have met all the wonderful people that were involved and looking forward to working together again in the future. It was a brilliant evening. The brides were absolutely stunning and a big congratulations to all the winners. A big thank you to those who helped especially my handsome Husband, my wonderful Mum, little Sister, Nana and Grandad and Aunty Julie, you guys are all amazing without your support White Sweetpea wouldn't be where it is today. Here are a few photographs of the outcome. All products are available for hire so get in touch and we can get planning your dream day. Hello July!

Why hello there July. This year is flying by. We are half way through our winter special which alot of you have already taken advantage of. Shabby Chic Spring!

We recently styled a photo shoot using a selection of our props. We have chosen a spring shabby chic theme. It was awesome to bring several ideas to the table that we had been thinking about for a while. Hard to believe that when we done this shoot it was pouring with rain outside. Vintage typewriter restoration

I recently found this gorgeous vintage typewriter, which was in much need to some love and care. Check out the before and after photograph. The new Mr and Mrs Wood.

In January this year I had the honour and pleasure to be apart of the Wood Wedding. This was very exciting for White Sweetpea, this was our very first wedding that we styled using our products and had complete creative control of. Then Jane was also the photographer. This wedding was held on a gorgeous life style block on the outskirts of Hamilton and the reception was at a country town hall. With a limited budget we were able to create a simple yet beautiful wedding. The bride and groom were very pleased with the outcome as was I.
We woke on the Saturday morning to glorious sunshine, the bride and bridesmaids sipped on champagne as the groom and groomsmen finished off last minute details for the ceremony the day was shaping up to being one to remember. Family and friends all joined together to make this day perfect for the lovely couple, it was magical and dreams came true. Being able to be apart of it from start to finish made it all that more special for me. The bride and groom were so cute and in love as they took the next step in their life adventure. Here are a few photographs of the Wood Wedding. Its been awhile....

Lots has been going on here at White Sweetpea over the last few months. I have been terrible and fell behind in my blogging. Now fingers crossed that it is all about to change.
